Sun, sand and affordable football. Club World Cup in UAE looks good for a winter break

January 7 – FIFA’s ticket sales process for the Club World Cup UAE 2021, has gone from an exclusive pre-sale window that ended today, to a last-minute ticket window opening today.

The rearranged 2021 Club World (both host and date) will kick off in Abu Dhabi on February 3 and run through to February 12.

“Tickets to the final on 12 February, and to the semi-finals featuring Palmeiras and Chelsea on 8 and 9 February, were in high demand during the Visa Presale phase,” said a FIFA press release.

Category 1 tickets for the final were on sale for just $50. Ticket pricing starts as low as £5.

FIFA said that there are still tickets available for the semis and finals and that they will be sold on a first come first served basis.

All matches will take place in the Mohammed Bin Zayed Stadium and Al Nahyan Stadium.

Competing team are Concacaf champions Monterrey (Mexico), UEFA Champions League winners Chelsea, CONMEBOL champions SE Palmeiras (Brazil), the Saudi Arabian AFC champions Al Hilal , and Egyptian giants Al Ahly SC representing Africa. The UAE’s Al Jazira represent the host nation while the OFC representative is Tahiti’s AS Pirae.

For Chelsea fans looking for a winter break with a few days in the sun, a spectacular hotel and a couple of matches at a very affordable price, the Club World Cup in the UAE is starting to look good value.
