Eriksen picked for Denmark friendlies with Qatar 2022 only a beat away

March 15 – Christian Eriksen has been named in Denmark’s squad for the first time since his cardiac arrest that shocked the world while he was playing against Finland at Euro 2020 last summer.

Eriksen, who signed for English Premier League Brentford in January on a six-month deal, made his first appearance for them as a substitute on February 26.

The 30-year-old, who is now fitted with a pacemaker, has been named in Denmark’s squad for friendlies in the Netherlands on March 26 and at home against Serbia three days later.
