UEFA releases 350,000 tickets for Women’s Euro with 100 days to go

March 28 – UEFA has opened up ticket sales for the Women’s Euro 2022 with 100 days to go before the kick off on July 6, making more than 350,000 tickets available on a first come, first served basis.

So far over 350,000 tickets have been sold in the during the pre-sale and public ballot windows, already beating the previous ticket sales record of 240,000 tickets sold for the Euro 2017 championships in the Netherlands.

UEFA’s chief of women’s football, Nadine Kessler, said: “This summer is going to be a game-changer for European women’s football and we can’t wait to showcase what will be a record-breaking tournament. It’s going to be bigger and better than ever before.”

Tickets are still available for all matches with prices ranging from £5 – £50 and a family of four [2 adults, 2 children] ticket costing just £30.

As part of the ticket promotion tournament organisers marked the ticket release by unveiling a giant women’s table football players on London’s iconic Carnaby Street. The installation, featuring nine feet tall women’s players to celebrate the scale and importance of UEFA Women’s EURO 2022 by repurposing the traditionally male-dominated table football game.

The tournament will see 16 teams play 31 games across England in ten venues in nine cities including Brighton & Hove, London, Manchester, Milton Keynes, Rotherham, Sheffield, Southampton, Trafford and Wigan & Leigh.
