UEFA’s top table put Euro 2024 qualifying details top of agenda for Croatia meet

September 14 – With the pace of major events increasing in frequency following the catch-up with the calendar post-covid, UEFA has said that the EURO 2024 qualifying draw procedure will be a key item on the agenda of their next executive committee meeting September 20.

The  Euro 2024 qualifying tournament is scheduled to be played from March 2023 to March 2024 to qualify 23 men’s national teams to join hosts Germany at the Euro 2024 final tournament.

The qualification competition will be linked with the 2022-23 Nations League competiition, giving countries a secondary route to qualify for the final tournament.

All 54 UEFA member associations will be in the draw for the qualifying group stage that will take place at the Festhalle in Frankfurt on October 9.

UEFA’s executive committee are meeting on the island of Hvar in Croatia next Tuesday in the historic Arsenal building. Also on their agenda is the appointment of hosts for the 2022/23 UEFA European Under-19 Futsal Championship, as well as updates from various UEFA Committees.

Earlier in the day a grassroots event will be staged on NK Hvar’s pitch as part of UEFA’s Football in Schools programme, with the participation of local school children, as well as UEFA President Aleksander Čeferin and former playing legends.
