October 26 – Serie A’s Udinese is today launching its official Fan Token $UDI through the Socios.com platform with the sale opening at 1pm (CET).
Just 25,000 $UDI will be released over three waves, priced at €2 each. The first wave tokens will be available over a 24-hour period with a limit of five tokens per fan.
A second release will open October 27 for 24-hours with a purchase limit of 25 tokens per fan, while a third will open for 24 hours on October 28 with no purchase limit.
Fans with at least one $UDI Fan Token can immediately participate in a poll to choose a motivational message that will be printed on the team’s warm-up shirt.
They will also enter a draw to win a jersey signed by first team players.
The more Fan Tokens an individual owns, the higher the weight of their vote and the greater the chance to win prizes.
Socios.com says that during 2022 it will launch “more than 500 polls to give Fan Token Holders the possibility to vote to choose kit designs, jersey numbers, celebration songs and much more.”
The blockchain-based business says that more than 17,000 users on the platform will have received rewards and gifts related to their teams by the end of the year.
Other teams on the Socios.com platform include FC Barcelona, Atlético de Madrid, Paris Saint-Germain, Arsenal, Manchester City, Juventus, AC Milan, Flamengo and River Plate.
