LaLiga to debut with official content stream on OneFootball platform

January 10 – LaLiga and OneFootball have stuck a deal that will see the Spanish league launch its official profile on the streaming platform.

LaLiga content on OneFootball will include news, weekly highlights, match reports, and videos, the first of Europe’s big five leagues to commit to such a wide range of content on the platform.

More than 150 clubs, leagues and federations in 195 countries are already distributing original content to their fans via OneFootball which allows users to create a personalised home feed of content they are most interested in.

Alfredo Bermejo, LaLiga’s director of digital strategy, said: “Being on key platforms like OneFootball is essential for LaLiga, to reach millions of fans and new users that can enjoy the most of the best league in the world. The agreement with OneFootball allows us to position ourselves at the forefront of the entertainment industry.”

All LaLiga will be available to fans on the OneFootball mobile app and on the website while video will be available via the OneFootball Player, which distributes content to over 250 publishers worldwide.

OneFootball platform’s audience has now reached more than 100 million monthly active users, 75% of whom are between 17 and 34-years-old.
