July 7 – Sportradar has won the rights to be Conmebol’s exclusive global audio and video betting data rights holder for its club competitions and a bulk of its national team championships.
Described as a “multi-year exclusive agreement”, the deal covers worldwide rights for men’s and women’s Copa Libertadores, Copa Sudamericana and Copa Recopa for the next four seasons.
The agreement has begun with the current season with the Copa Libertadores U20, Copa Libertadores Futsal (Men’s and Women’s), and Copa Libertadores Beach Soccer.
It is the first time that domestic AV betting rights for Conmebol club competitions have been offered in the region where there has been an explosion of online betting operators.

We are sure that the prestigious Conmebol club tournaments, with more than 60 years of history, will be a great showcase to be able to get closer to the true fans of South American football,” said José Astigarraga, Conmebol Secretary General.
Sportradar has more than 900 clients globally taking its data, with the company putting a lot of investment into the development in advanced technologies, such as computer vision and AI.
Conmebol also has an existing relationship with Sportradar’s integrity services, which focuses on monitoring betting markets for suspicious match-fixing activity.
