Bayern agree South American deal with Chilean fintech business Global66

July 14 – FC Bayern Munich have announced a partnership with Chilean financial services platform Global66, their first in South America and second in Latin America.

Global66 is a digital financial platform that offers services including currency exchange, person-to-person remittances between Global66 accounts, a prepaid card (via Mastercard), and international money transfers.

The deal with the 33-time German champions will include a marketing activation around providing opportunity for young South America players to travel to Munich to showcase their talent on the European stage.

“We are pleased to announce with Global66 our first South American partnership and the second in Latin America” commented FC Bayern Executive Board Member Andreas Jung. “Together we want to offer young people in the region the opportunity to develop. With this partnership, FC Bayern continues its growth in the Americas on and off the pitch.”

FC Bayern has been working to expand its brand through the Americas from its North American offices.

The Global66 brand will promote using Bayern’s marks as well as having visibility across Bayern’s media platforms.
