Belgian lottery renews Lotto Park naming rights with Anderlecht

July 25 – The Belgian national lottery – Nationale Loterij – has renewed its club sponsorship of RSC Anderlecht including the naming rights to the stadium. 

The club first partnered with the lottery in 2018, with the naming rights – the stadium is known as Lotto Park – being added to the deal in 2019.

“I am delighted that our partnership with Sporting Anderlecht is being continued,” said Belgian National Lottery Managing Director, Jannie Haek.

“It is quite exceptional that the name “Lotto Park” has, in a very short time, become part of the collective memory in football. The naming of various venues and locations is inherent to the Belgian National Lottery’s strategy of being as close as possible to our fellow Belgians every day.”

The year the Lotto celebrates its 45th anniversary. As part of the celebrations it will continue to for Anderlecht fan-focussed initiatives, which previously have included the ‘RSCA Fanatico’ competition which sees fans take part in various challenges inside the stadium.

The new naming rights deal is understood to be for a five year term, though no value was given for the

Anderlecht CEO Non-Sports, Kenneth Bornauw, said: “The Lotto Park has become a familiar name in recent years, a brand name that stands for passion and a wonderful experience for fans.

“It is pleasing to see that the National Lottery is confident about the road ahead and is continuously supporting us in our ambitions.”
