UEFA unveils brand identities for Europa League and Conference League finals

September 4 – The brand identities of the upcoming UEFA Europa League and UEFA Europa Conference League finals have been revealed, taking place in Dublin and Athens respectively.

The styles are intended to mirror a cultural aspect of each of the host cities, which were unveiled during the UEFA Europa League and UEFA Conference League group stage draws at the beginning of the month at the Grimaldi Forum in Monaco.

In regards to the UEL aesthetic, UEFA said that “the identity is designed around the ‘energy wave’ concept of the UEFA Europa League, which captures the edgy and dynamic nature of the competition. Combined with some of the most famous landmarks of the capital of the Republic of Ireland, the key visual captures the rich history and the contemporary vibrance of the city with the energy that the 2024 final will bring.”

Turning to the UECL final in Athens, UEFA say: “The host city logo for the 2024 UEFA Europa Conference League final draws inspiration from a rich and eclectic mix of architectural styles of one of the oldest cities in the world. The mix of typography styles forms a blend of ancient and modern Greek culture.”

The UEFA Europa league final will take place at the Dublin Arena, also known as the Aviva stadium, in the Irish capital on May 22.

A week later, May 29, the UEFA Europa Conference League victor will be decided at the Agia Sofia Stadium in Athens, home to club side AEK Athens.
