September 12 – The AFC is asking fans to vote for the slogan they most want to see as the tagline for the Asian Cup Qatar 2023, to be played in January 2024.
With just four months to go to kick-off, the AFC and local organisers are ramping up Asian Cup promotion with a number of fan engagement initiatives. The AFC asked fans to select their Asian Cup Dream Team on the five-months to go countdown mark.
Fans voting for the tournament tagline have to choose from 11 slogans.
They are also invited to test their knowledge of the competition and have the chance to win a trip to the opening match between defending champions Qatar and Lebanon at the Lusail Stadium in Doha on 12 January, 2024.
The shortlisted slogans have been curated by the AFC and LOC “to best showcase the passion for football in Asia, the power of the beautiful game to unite the world’s most diverse Continent as well as the stature and prestige of Asia’s crown jewel.”
The winning slogan will be announced on 4 October, 2023 to coincide with the 100-days-to-go countdown mark and the Team Workshops being organised in Qatar.
