Soccer Manager 2024 tops 2m sign ups on opening weekend launch

October 3 – Football management simulation game, Soccer Manager 2024, produced for Android and iOS, has scored more than 2 million players in its opening weekend, according to developers Invincibles Studio.

The free-to-play mobile game features Arsenal Manager Mikel Arteta at the forefront of its branding, after the Spaniard extended his ambassador deal for a fourth consecutive year.

UK-based Invincible Studios say that Soccer Manager 2024 offers an unparalleled mobile football game experience, featuring over 20,000 players from 900+ clubs across 50 leagues globally.

Due to the simulator’s status as a mobile game, it doesn’t have to compete with the likes of EAFC or Football Manager, which both offer high-quality experiences across their gaming platforms. Instead, it can ride the hype of football gaming caused by major releases whilst remaining a free alternative to a worldwide audience.

The app uses micro-transactions to give players the option to pay real money for an in-game advantage.

Following the recent announcement of a multi-year licensing agreement with Manchester City, Soccer Manager 2024 also features existing multi-year worldwide agreements with partners including the Bundesliga and a wide-ranging FIFPRO player licence.
