November 5 – Concacaf has confirmed the schedules for the inaugural finals of the 2023 Central American Cup and the 2023 Caribbean Cup. The winners of both finals will receive a bye through to the 2024 Concacaf Tup round of 16.
Both finals are over two legs and will be played end of November and early December.
In Central America, LD Alajuelense (Costa Rica) and Real Estelí FC (Nicaragua) will play November 28 and December 5.
LD Alajuelense beat fellow Costa Rican side Herediano 5-4 in a penalty shootout after a 4-4 aggregate draw in the semi-finals. Real Esteli overcame Panama’s CA Independiente 3-2 on aggregate in the semi-finals.
The runner-up, two losing semi-finalists (CA Independiente and CS Herediano), and two Play-In winners (Deportivo Saprissa and Comunicaciones FC) have also qualified for next year’s Champions Cup and will begin play in Round One.

The two-legged Caribbean Cup Final between Cavalier FC (Jamaica) and SV Robinhood (Suriname) with the first leg on November 30 in Suriname and the second leg in Jamaica on December 6.
Cavalier beat fellow Jamaican club Harbour View 5-0 on aggregate in the semi-finals. Robinhood overcame Dominican Republic side Moca in a penalty shootout following a 1-1 aggregate draw in the semi-finals.
The two losing semi-finalists, will face off to determine the third Caribbean club participating in the 2024 Concacaf Champions Cup. These matches are scheduled for November 28 (first leg) and December 5 (second leg) in Jamaica and the Dominican Republic, respectively.
