Turk Telekom’s GameON picks up naming rights to inaugural eFootball Turkish Cup

January 9 – GameON has picked up the naming rights sponsorship to the eFootball Turkish Cup, which is organised by the Turkish Football Federation (TFF) and will make its debut this season.

No value or term for the deal was given. GameON is a video gaming platform owned by Turk Telekom.

The GameON eFootball Turkish Cup starts today with the champion being crowned at the grand final that will be played offline on January 24, 2024. A total of TL 125,000 (€ 3,815) worth of prizes will be distributed at the grand final with the finalist teams directly qualifying for the eSuper Cup.

“Broadcasts of the GAMEON eFootball Turkey Cup, whose group matches will start this evening, will be broadcast live on Tivibuspor 4 channel,” said a Turkish Football Federation (TFF) statement.

The competition will see each team represented by at least one coach and one eFootball gamer. Four groups of five teams will be played offline, via 1 vs 1 and 95 Gen modes, at the eFootball Center at the Hasan Doğan National Teams Camp and Training Facilities.

The teams that finish in the top 4 places in their groups will advance to the round of 16.

Teams in the last 16 rounds knockout stage will play 2 matches against each other with the winning team being determined by the total score of the two matches. If there is a tie in the total score, a golden goal rule will be applied.
