Wwin signs 5-year naming rights deal for Bosnia and Herzegovina’s top tier league

February 12 – The Football Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina (FSbiH) has signed a sponsorship contract with online bookmaker Wwin.

Under the agreement, Wwin becomes the main sponsor of the domestic first division, which will be renamed Wwin Liga Bosne I Hercegovine.

“This cooperation symbolises our tireless commitment to the development of sports in the country, and our desire to give the audience the opportunity to enjoy top football. For us at Wwin, this is more than a sponsorship,” said Wwin’s Ante Matijević.

“We consider it an obligation to the sport, the fans and the entire country. We are proud that through this five-year project we can contribute to the development of football and sports in general, and it is an exceptional honor that today I have the opportunity to make this cooperation official on behalf of the Wwin company,” said Matijević.

No value was given for the deal.

The General Secretary of FSBiH Adnan Džemidžić added: “This is a very important moment for Bosnia and Herzegovian football. The partnership with the Wwin company opens up new opportunities for the development of our football and the improvement of the quality of our competitions. I am sure that together we will achieve significant results and contribute to the further popularization of football in Bosnia and Herzegovina…”

“The name of our elite football competition from the spring part of the 2023/24 season, will be the Wwin League of Bosnia and Herzegovina. Through this cooperation, the Wwin company will enable streaming and greater viewership of the league both in the country and abroad, all with the aim of creating a better sports environment, promoting the values of sports and providing access to quality sports content,” continued Džemidžić.
