Hankook Tires keeps on rolling with Europa and Conference League renewals

May 24 – Hankook Tire has renewed its sponsorships of UEFA’ Europa League and Conference League for a further three seasons, taking them to until the end of the 2026/27 season.

The global tyre manufacturer, the longest-standing UEFA Europa League partner, signs a new multi-season deal until the 2026/27 season.

A Europa League partner since 2012, the South Korean company will activate with Hankook in the Europa League and its second brand Laufenn in the Conference League. Its electric vehicle tyre brand iON will feature in both competitions.

Sanghoon Lee, president and COO of Hankook Tire Europe, said: “It is a pleasure to continue our successful partnership with UEFA for another three years to position Hankook Tire as a premium partner also in the sports world. Furthermore, the renewed involvement of our Laufenn brand in the UEFA Conference League also demonstrates the close and trustful relationship we have developed with UEFA over the years. This new competition has already proven to be the perfect platform for raising awareness of our secondary brand in Europe.”

Sponsorship rights include the referee mascots that involve young fans in a collaboration with the UEFA Foundation for Children, as well as multiple digital activations on both UEFA and Hankook digital channels, including the raffling ofpremium tickets through the microsite Hankook.win.

Hankook will also continue to sponsor the Player of the Match presentations after both finals.

Hankook, Laufenn and iON will feature in LED perimeter advertising and media backdrops during television interviews and pre-match and post-match press conferences.

Hankook joins Decathlon, Just Eat Takeaway.com, Strauss and Swissquote as UEFA Europa League and UEFA Conference League sponsors for the 2024-27 commercial cycle.
