Qatar Airways lands on more UEFA properties in deal that runs to 2030

September 20 – Qatar Airways has deepened its sponsor partnerships with UEFA becoming the official airline partner of the Champions League, in a deal that runs until 2030.

The airline was an official partner for Euro 2020 and 2024, the Nations League and the UEFA European Under-21 Championship. The new agreement also includes sponsorship rights for the UEFA Super Cup, Youth League and Futsal Champions League.

It joins BET365, Crypto.com, FedEx, Heineken, Just Eat Takeaway.com, Mastercard, PepsiCo and PlayStation as a Champions League sponsor.

UEFA president Aleksander Čeferin (pictured centre left) said: “Qatar Airways and UEFA are united in their passion for sports and global business excellence. This shared commitment is the foundation of our long-lasting partnership… We are delighted to expand our partnership to another level as we embark on a new era of the UEFA Champions League.”

Qatar Airways now flys to more than 50 destinations from its hub at Hamad International Airport in Doha.

The airline will have brand exposure on perimeter LED boards and will activate its sponsorship through exclusive promotions and discounts, bespoke travel solutions via Hamad International Airport in Doha and unique experiences and travel packages available through the Qatar Airways Privilege Club Collection.

No value was given for the deal.
