Škoda changes gear taking Chelsea women’s shirt position as club targets double

May 9 – Chelsea Women have deepened their ties with Škoda UK, announcing the brand as the club’s first Back-of-Shirt Partner in a deal that reinforces the carmaker’s commitment to women’s sport.

The expanded agreement – building on Škoda’s role as Official Automotive Partner since January – will see the brand’s logo appear on the back of Chelsea Women’s match kits starting with the final league game of the 2024/25 season and running through the entire 2025/26 campaign.

The timing of the announcement is no coincidence. It lands just as Chelsea celebrate a sixth straight Barclays Women’s Super League title and prepare for the Adobe Women’s FA Cup Final at Wembley on May 18. Škoda branding will feature across both matchday and digital platforms during the run-in.

The Czech manufacturer has provided Chelsea Women and their academy staff with electric Enyaq and plug-in hybrid Kodiaq iV vehicles, in a move that they say reflects a shared commitment to innovation and sustainability. Škoda will also continue sponsoring Chelsea’s ‘We Are Chelsea’ podcast and expand its investment in player-led digital content.

Škoda’s growing profile in women’s sport – including partnerships in cycling’s Tour de France Femmes – aligns with its broader strategy to champion inclusivity and visibility in elite women’s athletics.
