Concacaf sets 2025/25 W Champions Cup dates with FIFA Women’s CWC slots on the line

May 13 – As the Concacaf 2024/25 W Champions Cup prepares for its final four stage in Monterrey, Mexico May 21-24 – América Femenil face Gotham FC and Tigres Femenil meet Thorns FC in the double header semi-finals – the confederation has released dates for its 2025/26 edition.  

The 10-club group stage to be played from August to October and will be the second edition of the Confederation’s premier competition for women’s clubs. The Finals will be played in May 2026.

The winner of the 2025/26 edition of the Concacaf Champions Cup will qualify for the 2027 FIFA Women’s Champions Cup, and the first edition of the new quadrennial Women’s Club World Cup in 2028.

The FIFA Champions Cup is an annual tournament played among the Confederations’ champions. The Concacaf Champions Cup winner has direct entry to the semi-final stage where they will play the champions from Conmebol’s Copa Libertadores femenil.

The new Club World Cup will feature 19 teams, starting with a six team play-in. Concacaf has two direct entries to the finals and a play-in spot.

So far eight of the 10 teams are qualified for the Concacaf Champions Cup with just El Salvador and Panama to complete domestic competitions. The draw for the groups will be made June 3.

Group Stage Week 1: August 19-21, 2025
Group Stage Week 2: September 2-4, 2025
Group Stage Week 3: September 16-18, 2025
Group Stage Week 4: September 30 – October 2, 2025
Group Stage Week 5: October 14-16, 2025

Final four: May 20-23, 2026
