September 2 – The Turkish Football Federation (TFF) has signed a sponsorship agreement with the insurance company Ray Sigorta. The contract between the two parties is for three years, with Ray Sigorta becoming the main sponsor of the Turkish men’s and women’s national teams.
The signing of the agreement, in addition to representatives of the TFF and the insurance company, was also attended by Turkey coach Vincenzo Montella.
TFF President İbrahim Ethem Hacıosmanoğlu said: “Today, we are delighted to announce an important agreement for Turkish football. We are entering into a partnership with Ray Sigorta, one of Turkey’s leading insurance companies. Ray Sigorta, ranked among Turkey’s 100 most valuable brands, will be the main sponsor of our Women’s and Men’s National Football Teams for three years. First and foremost, I hope this agreement will be beneficial for both parties.
“We are working hand in hand with our sponsors for the development of Turkish football and for lasting and sustainable success; we are joining forces with them. I hope this agreement with Ray Sigorta brings luck to our National Team in its quest to qualify for the World Cup.”
Ray Sigorta CEO Koray Erdoğan expressed his pride in being the main sponsor of the National Teams. Erdoğan stated: “This three-year main sponsorship agreement with the TFF is a significant step not only for Ray Sigorta, but for the entire insurance sector.
“I believe this partnership, one of the most comprehensive sponsorship agreements in our sector, will significantly contribute to spreading insurance awareness across the board and enhancing the credibility of our sector.
“As Ray Sigorta, we are delighted and proud to support the unifying and inspiring power of sports while upholding our national values. We wish our National Teams success, and with this partnership, we say, ‘We also stand with our National Teams.“
Vincenco Montella added: “We’re delighted to be working with an international company like Ray Sigorta. I welcome you to our family. I believe we can achieve even greater goals together.
“While it may seem different, the insurance policies we take out in our lives are similar to those in football. Just like in life, unexpected events happen in football. Injuries can happen at the last minute. This is how we protect ourselves.
“We’ll do our best to achieve our goals. We want to go to the World Cup, which we haven’t been able to go to for many years. Thank you for being here again.”
