Man City continue journey with Destination Sport Group

September 29 – Manchester City have strengthened ties with long-standing travel partner Destination Sport Group, formalising the relationship through a new local partnership agreement.

Destination Sport Group (DSG) has been quietly embedded within City operations for years, handling the logistics of team travel while also curating tours for youth players and offering packages for supporters.

The club say that DSG’s portfolio of subsidiary brands – Destination Sport Travel, inspiresport, SportsBreaks and Sportsworld – has helped cover “everything from grassroots trips to hospitality experiences”, adding to their value as a club partner.

The renewed deal ensures that support will continue on multiple fronts. For the players, Destination Sport will remain responsible for the team’s travel operations. For fans and wider groups, the partnership opens the door to more structured opportunities: school and youth club trips tied to training at the City Football Academy via inspiresport, ticket-and-hotel bundles for home matches through SportsBreaks, and bespoke corporate travel packages under the Sportsworld brand.

Branding visibility is also part of the arrangement, bringing Destination Sport’s name more closely into City’s commercial ecosystem.

Jonathan Lingham, Director of Commercial and Fan Support, Manchester City, said: “We’re delighted to build on and further cement our current relationship with Destination Sport Group – a leading sports organisation who provide a valuable service to the club across multiple touchpoints.”

Paul Hemingway, Destination Sport Group Chief Executive Officer, added: “This is a truly comprehensive travel partnership with touchpoints across team travel, youth development tours, fan travel and VIP experiences, demonstrating the unique ability of Destination Sport Group to ensure an integrated, complementary travel provision.

Manchester City will travel to Monaco for their second Champions League matchday of the season on Wednesday night. Off the back off a 5-1 thrashing of Burnley, you’d back them to continue that form on the continental stage – especially with Monaco struggling against Lorient in Ligue1 over the weekend.
