October 10 – Тhe Romanian Football Federation (FRF) has signed a sponsorship with Intersnack, making the Chio brand the first official salty snack in Romania to support the national football team.
The collaboration marks a significant moment in the local market and confirms the Chio brand’s commitment to standing alongside Romanians during moments that evoke the strongest emotions.
“As a leader in the Romanian snack market, Chio is defined as the choice that brings people together, whether during relaxed evenings, gatherings with friends, or watching a match. Therefore, the association with the National Team is a natural fit, reflecting the shared passion of Romanians for football – the sport that unites them,” said the FRF.
With nearly 60 years of operations, Intersnack is one of the leading snack producers in Europe and Oceania, employing over 15,000 staff members across 31 countries. In Romania, the company has been present for over 25 years, producing brands including Chio, Hula Hoops, POM-BÄR, and NutlinЕ in Ghimbav, Brașov.

No value or term was given for the sponsorship.
