Ticketmaster renews Inter Miami partnership as Freedom Park move nears 

October 20 – Ticketmaster has its tentacles in every aspect of live entertainment, and with the announcement that Inter Miami CF is renewing its partnership, the ticketing giant will potentially have the keys to Lionel Messi’s final season in Major League Soccer. 

With Messi and co moving to its new state-of-the-art stadium, Miami Freedom Park, in 2026, interest in the club has grown worldwide; however, among football fans, Ticketmaster tends to elicit mixed emotions. While its technology and scale are considered the gold standard, frustration over high fees, accessibility, and battling against Bots has sullied the experience. Still, Inter Miami’s leadership insists this renewal is all about improving the supporter experience.

The club says the new agreement will deliver a “personalised and technology-driven matchday experience,” building on Ticketmaster’s SafeTix digital platform and analytics tools that help “streamline entry, reduce fraud, and optimize matchday operations.”
