April 15 – Beginning in 2027, fans in Mexico will have a new place to watch two of the region’s biggest international tournaments.
Concacaf has struck a four-year deal with streaming platform Netflix, making the streamer the exclusive home in Mexico for the 2027 and 2029 editions of the Concacaf Nations League Finals and the Concacaf Gold Cup.
The agreement is limited to Mexico and covers only those men’s national team competitions.
The 2027 Nations League Finals will take place in March at SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles, featuring the four quarterfinal winners. That summer, the Gold Cup returns for its 19th edition, with 16 teams competing to crown the region’s champion.
“We are very excited to partner with Netflix in Mexico as we continue to strengthen how fans connect with our premier national team competitions,” said Philippe Moggio, Concacaf General Secretary.
“We know that in Mexico, the passion for football is truly unique, and this agreement allows us to bring these competitions closer to millions of fans through a new platform. It also reflects our commitment to delivering high-quality access to tournaments that mean so much to our region.”
Netflix, meanwhile, continues its push into live sports.
“At Netflix, we are increasingly investing in live events that connect with our audience’s greatest passions, and football is, without a doubt, the passion that unites us as Mexicans,” said Carolina Leconte, Vice President of Content for Mexico and Latin America Acquisitions at Netflix.
“Concacaf national team matches bring together millions of fans in Mexico like few other events can. We are thrilled that, over the coming years, fans in Mexico will be able to experience the Concacaf Nations League Finals and the Concacaf Gold Cup exclusively on Netflix, with no additional fees.”
