April 23 – English Premier League (EPL) side Brentford have entered a sponsorship deal with global jobs platform Indeed ahead of a voluntary ban on front-of-shirt betting sponsorships within the English top-flight that begins next season.
Indeed will appear on the front of Brentford’s men’s, women’s, and academy shirts from the 2026/27 season under a new multi-year deal. The two sides are already working together. Indeed joined the club in 2025 as a training wear and recruitment partner.
The strategic link is actually there, which is not always the case with shirt deals. Brentford have built a reputation as one of the most analytically rigorous clubs in the Premier League, with squad building driven by data over gut instinct. Indeed, operates in global employment markets using the same logic to match candidates and employers. Recruitment is the word both organisations live by.
Jon Varney, Brentford’s CEO, said, “We are very proud to welcome Indeed to the front of our shirts from next season as we continue to grow the club’s profile on both a local and global stage. This expanded partnership builds on an excellent first year working together, driven by our shared belief in data, smart recruitment and talent development.”
The deal extends beyond the shirt. Indeed becomes a lead partner of the Brentford FC Community Sports Trust, supporting programmes focused on employment access and skills development. A jobs company funding jobs initiatives in the borough of Brentford.
James Whitemore, Chief Marketing Officer at Indeed, added, “Football is powered by fans. Their energy, loyalty and sense of community are what bring the club to life. Through this expanded partnership, we want to engage more deeply with Brentford’s fanbase and create opportunities that go beyond the pitch.”
