Spurs ban 48 fans for selling Champions League tickets to Red Star fans

November 1 – Tottenham Hotspur have handed indefinite bans to 48 fans who sold tickets on to Red Star Belgrade supporters for last week’s Champions League match.

Red Star supporters had been banned from buying tickets after being charged by UEFA for racist behaviour  in July but more than 200 were inside the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

The club launched a full investigation and found almost 50 members purchased multiple tickets and illegally sold them on.

Stewards were forced to segregate the visiting Serbian supporters from home fans as there were too many to eject.

UEFA’s disciplinary panel is still deciding whether to take any action against either club.
