Coca-Cola add Aston Villa to Premier League club rights

August 15 – Aston Villa have announced an agreement with the Coca-Cola Company which will make Coca-Cola the Official Soft Drinks Partner, Official Global Partner, and Official Partner of the club’s Men’s and Women’s teams.

The deal includes pouring rights for Coca-Cola’s full range of beverages  including Coke, Fanta, Sprite and each of their low calorie counterparts – at Villa Park and other Aston Villa events globally.

Coca-Cola signed a near-identical deal with Manchester United on Wednesday. It is also partnered with the Premier League, signing a new three-year partnership in May this year – a deal which marked a return to England’s top flight after the company initially partnered with the competition from the 2018/19 season onward.

Adrian Filby, Chief Commercial Officer at Aston Villa, said: “We are thrilled to welcome Coca-Cola to the partner family at Aston Villa. Their global reach and dedication to fan engagement make them the perfect match for our club’s ambitions for further growth. Together with Coca-Cola, we look forward to enhancing the matchday experience and connecting with Villa fans around the world.”

Javier Meza, President of Marketing, Europe, Coca-Cola, said: “We’re incredibly excited to partner with Aston Villa—an ambitious and historic club with a passionate global fanbase and deep community roots. This partnership reflects our shared commitment to delivering refreshing experiences for supporters through our iconic Coca-Cola brands and world-class football activations.”

Villa open their Premier League campaign at home versus Newcastle on Saturday afternoon – where they will hope to take advantage of the Magpies’ messy dressing room with star striker Alexander Isak refusing to play or train as he attempts to force through a move to Liverpool.
