October 1 – Nottingham Forest have secured a new global partnership with Dubai-based property developer Object 1, marking a collaboration that links the Premier League club’s international profile with one of the Gulf’s ‘fastest-growing’ real estate brands.
The agreement will see Object 1’s branding appear on the front of shirts for Forest’s Academy teams, on top of pitchside visibility at the City Ground and across the club’s Nigel Doughty Academy. The two organisations have shaken hands to work together on digital and content campaigns designed to engage supporters worldwide throughout the season.
The deal comes at a significant moment for both parties. Forest are competing in European competition for the first time in three decades, having qualified for the UEFA Europa League, while Object 1 has established itself among Dubai’s top ten developers – each is looking to capitalise on each other’s forward momentum.
Lina Souloukou, Nottingham Forest chief executive officer, said: “Object 1 is an exciting brand within the real estate sector in Dubai, which is growing rapidly and is passionate about delivering high-quality, sustainable and affordable developments for its communities. Our values align strongly, and we’re delighted to welcome another internationally renowned organisation to the Forest family for years to come.”
No value or term was given for the deal.
Egor Maslennikov, chairman and founder of Object 1, added: “We look at this partnership with great optimism and believe it’s just the beginning. Together, we aim to set new benchmarks, drive innovation, and create lasting value for people. For Object 1, this collaboration reflects our vision of aligning with global icons that share our passion for excellence and our commitment to building vibrant, forward-looking communities.”
Forest have struggled domestically this season, with the side yet to look convincing under new boss Ange Postecoglou. As things stand they hover one point above the relegation zone after six games – most recently losing out to recently-promoted Sunderland at home.
They continue their Europa league push on Thursday versus Danish side FC Midtjylland – presenting an opportunity to land a first win this season on the continental stage.
