GOAL Projects set to bridge gap between sport, music and fashion

October 7 – The worlds of football, music, and fashion have never been closer bedfellows, and GOAL, the global football media brand, is launching GOAL Projects which will bridge sport and style through a series of creative collaborations.

Its first collaboration brings some music industry heat with Grammy-winning artist Anderson .Paak. Together with GOAL, .Paak has co-designed a limited-edition football shirt, t-shirt, and ball.

Proceeds from the collection will support the Brandon Anderson Foundation and the Oxnard Eagles, a girls’ youth football club in .Paak’s hometown of Oxnard, California. The team, founded by farmworker Victor Garcia, serves over 100 children from immigrant and working-class families and will wear the Paak-designed jersey this season.

“Music has always been my way to connect with people, and I’m excited to partner with GOAL to create a unique opportunity to do the same for my hometown,” said Anderson .Paak. “I’m stoked to help the Oxnard Eagles girls’ soccer team get the gear they need to play, shine, and have fun. Giving back to my community and seeing these kids light up — that’s what it’s all about.”

Jake Cohen, head of GOAL Projects, believes this fusion of art forms is reshaping modern fandom: “The ties between football, fashion, and music have never been closer. GOAL Projects is about bringing them together — breaking barriers, supporting grassroots players, and showing football’s place in wider culture.”

For GOAL, it’s part of a broader mission to go beyond journalism and become an active participant in football’s creative ecosystem.

The Anderson .Paak x GOAL Projects collection drops online and at .Paak House Festival on October 11 at California State University Channel Islands.
