November 26 – Tottenham Hotspur Front of Training Wear Partner BetMGM swapped their front-of-kit logo for ‘Safer Gambling’ logos to promote the UK’s ‘Safer Gambling Week’ campaign.
The cross-industry campaign aims to raise awareness of responsible gambling with messaging around enhancing understanding around problem gambling.
BetMGM’s branding has been showcased on Tottenham Hotspur’s training kit since July 2024.
BetMGM brand director Dan Towse, said: “We are proud to work with Tottenham Hotspur and to make sure all fans understand the range of tools we have on offer to ensure our customers play safely and responsibly.
“Safer Gambling Week is an important time of the year to showcase the importance of this initiative and so replacing our logo on the club’s training kit was crucial to us at BetMGM. We thank Tottenham for their support around the week and for helping us communicate our commitment to responsible gaming.”
Safer Gambling Week is an annual campaign across the UK and Ireland.
Spurs players and coaching staff wore bespoke training kit in the build-up to the Arsenal fixture last weekend.
Premier League clubs are in the last season of taking gambling sponsors on the front of their first team shirts, but will still be able to take bookmaker sponsorship on sleeves and other inventory.
