June 10 – Former CAF General Secretary Amr Fahmy has made a rare TV statement on the corruption investigations against CAF president Ahmad Ahmad, (pictured) claiming that his case was inspired by Egypt President Abdelfattah Al-Sisi.

Portugal win inaugural Nations League as Dutch point to the future

June 10 – Portugal won the inaugural Nations League defeating the Netherlands 1-0 to record a historic double for Fernando Santos’ team. England claimed third-place in the competition, edging Switzerland on penalties.

Match-fixing: Georgia bans five as Kaladze promises tough justice for fixers

June 10 – Five players, who admitted their role in a matchfixing scam in Georgia, have all been banned. The five all play for FC Wit Georgia and have been named as Giorgi Getiashvili, Joni Sherozia, Nikoloz Maisuradze, Nodar Kiknavelidze and Paata Ghudushauri.

June 10 – Montenegro’s FA (FSCG) has sacked their Serbian manager after he refused to lead the national side for a Euro 2020 qualifier against Kosovo.
