September 2 – UEFA has reported a cumulative global audience of 5.2 billion for EURO 2020 and a series of individual match ratings that rank among the most viewed moments of all time. The tournament also broke live streaming social media records.

UEFA open probe into English fans’ behaviour at Wembley Euro 2020 final

July 14 – With its reputation already shattered, England face being handed a stadium ban after an investigation was opened by UEFA into the disgraceful scenes at Wembley ahead of the Euro 2020 final, and the English Football Association charged over fans booing “during the (Italian) national anthem” and “lighting of a firework”.
