Tebas: Nobody is accusing Deportivo of any wrong-doing

May 8 – The newly-elected president of the LFP, Javier Tebas has spoken out about recent accusations of match-fixing in the Levante vs Deportivo match, but has said that the allegations are not aimed at the club directly.

Scots find compromise to merge leagues for future of national game

May 8 – The cloud of doom that has hung over Scottish football all year has finally been lifted with an agreement to restructure the leagues, hopefully in time for next season. Under the deal there would be single merged governing body to oversee the domestic professional game, with improved financial redistribution.

May 6 – Scottish Premier League club Heart of Midlothian announced financial results to 30 June 2012 showing an increased turnover to £8.68m but a loss for the full year of £1.65m, mainly due to the settlement of an HMRC tax investigation of £1.56m.

But the big winners in the case are the alleged dopers from sports other than cycling, and including football, who will retain their anonymity.
