December 18 – Qatar’s national airline has signed a six-year partnership with the Asian Football Confederation (AFC) that begins in January with the start of the Asian Cup that Qatar in hosting and kicks off 12 January.
November 20 – Australia’s men’s team are to donate part of the match fee from their World Cup qualifier against Palestine to humanitarian efforts in Gaza.
November 8 – After Algeria’s offer to host Palestinian fixtures was turned down by the game’s authorities, it has now been confirmed that Kuwait will stage their upcoming World Cup qualifier against Australia on November 21.

October 26 – With the countdown towards the AFC Asian Cup Qatar 2023 – to kick-off in January 2024 – now inside 75 days, the region’s football leaders will gather in the country for the AFC’s Annual Awards 2022 at the end of the month.

October 13 – The Asian Football Confederation (AFC) will confirm a raft of new appointments at its Extraordinary Congress which will be held virtually next Wednesday. The AFC held its annual congress in Manama in February.
October 13 – Saudi Arabia’s influence throughout world football seems to be growing daily. Its tourist authority Visit Saudi having announced it is the main sponsors of CAF’s new African Football League, has followed up with a major partnership with the AFC.
