Northern Ireland lose Euro 2028 host slot after government shelves Casement Park refurb

November 27 – Northern Ireland will no longer be classed as a host nation for the Euro 2028 finals and will miss out on a back-door route to qualify automatically, according to their neighbours, the Football Association of Ireland.

Bulgaria to get new stadium in Vratsa as city commits to build on site of Hristo Botev Stadium

November 27 – The mayor of Vratsa in Bulgaria, Kalin Kamenov, has announced the city is in the early stages of planning to build a new stadium on the site of the Hristo Botev Stadium, which is currently the second-largest operating stadium in Bulgaria.

November 27 – The EFL has issued a Request for Proposal (RFP) seeking partners to develop a matchday safety data collection and reporting system aimed at enhancing the analysis and management of safety and security issues across its 72 clubs.
