Real Madrid hit Dortmund with 11 minute blitzkrieg to rule Europe for 15th time

June 2 – Real Madrid confirmed their status as kings of Europe, claiming a record fifteenth European Cup title following a 2-0 smash-and-grab victory against Borussia Dortmund in the final of the Champions League, with Daniel Carjaval and Vinicius Junior getting the goals in the second half.

Season finale: CSKA Sofia fans invade pitch and attack players and match officials

June 3 – Chaos and violence marked the last match of the season in Bulgaria. The decisive Conference League play-off between CSKA Sofia and CSKA 1948 was interrupted for more than 20 minutes after home fans stormed the pitch attacking players and match officials.

Court orders probe into Pique’s €40m brokerage deal with RFEF for Spanish Super Cup in Saudi

May 31 – Former Barcelona and Manchester United defender Gerard Pique has been placed under official investigation by a court in Spain over his alleged involvement in a deal which saw the Spanish Super Cup moved to Saudi Arabia.
