Barcelona and Lyon earn first leg advantages in UWCL semi-finals

April 22 – Barcelona bounced back from Alexia Putellas’ missed penalty to secure a dominant 4-1 win over Chelsea in the Women’s Champions League semi-finals on Sunday. Olympique Lyonnais hold a 2-1 advantage over Arsenal in the other last-four tie.

UEFA sells out UCL women’s final as attendance records continue to tumble

May 16 – For the first time, the Women’s Champions League final will be sold out with all 34,100 tickets for the flagship match between FC Barcelona and Wolfsburg at the PSV Stadium in Eindhoven sold.

Wolfsburg ruin Arsenal’s big night out at Emirates with semi-final decider in 119th minute

May 2 – Wolfsburg’s Pauline Bremer scored an extra-time winner to send her club to the final of the Women’s Champions League and break Arsenal’s hearts in front of an English record crowd for a women’s club game of 60,063. Wolfsburg now face Barcelona in the final.

April 28 – Barcelona reached its third straight Women’s Champions League final after a 1-1 draw with Chelsea on Thursday in front of more than 72,000 fans at Camp Nou Stadium.

March 30 – Arsenal reached the Women’s Champions League semi-finals for the first time in 10 years after beating Bayern Munich 2-0 in their last-eight second leg tie on Wednesday to go through 2-1 on aggregate.
