Everton are the dirtiest Premier League team ever, Chelsea are second dirtiest

October 20 – Everton are the dirtiest team to have played in the Premier League since it was formed in 1992. The Merseysiders have collected more ‘dirty points’ that any other club and are almost 700 points ahead of second placed Chelsea.

October 19 – Despite insisting it would abide by FIFA’s decision, South Africa has submitted documentation to the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS) supporting Burkino Faso’s appeal challenging FIFA’s decision to replay the South Africa-Senegal World Cup qualifier.

October 19 – Barcelona are the latest of Europe’s giant clubs to announce a behind-the-scenes TV show with a media partner. The club and US streaming service Verizon go90 have announced the launch of Inside Barça which will air weekly.

U17 World Cup: England through on penalties, Spain beat favourites to make quarter finals

October 19 – England progressed to the last eight of the U-17 World Cup in India following a penalty shoot-out win against Japan. Spain knocked out favorites France in the round of 16 with Brazil, Germany and Mali all qualifying for the quarter-finals.
