The Azteca Stadium in Mexico City is, of course, their spiritual home; however, in Los Angeles – where they roared to victory over the Dominican Republic – and tonight in the heart of Texas at AT&T Stadium in Arlington versus Suriname, the team is welcomed by partisan support and rapturous anticipation.

CAF fills its committees and FIFA Council seats

March 12 – Egypt’s Hany Abo Rida and Morocco’s Fouzi Lekjaa have retained their seats on the FIFA Council, while Souleiman Waberi, Ahmed Yahya, Djibrilla Hamidou and Ibrahim Kanizat have been elected as the new African representatives. Samuel Eto’o has won a seat on the CAF executive committee.

Milan clubs agree city deal to buy San Siro and surrounding land for new-build stadium

The proposal, which includes a detailed feasibility plan, marks a significant step in a journey that has seen both clubs wrestle with various obstacles and ever-changing plans.
