November 25 – The German Football Association (DFB) mobilised domestic support for its bid to host the UEFA Women’s Euro 2029 last weekend with a nationwide campaign titled ‘WE’29 Celebration Weekend’.
August 29 – Germany, Poland, Portugal and the Nordic pair of Denmark and Sweden will bid for Euro 2029, European governing body UEFA confirmed today.
March 14 – 2025 is a busy year for European women’s football. In addition to EURO 2025 in Switzerland, the race to host the following Women’s EURO, in 2029, is a high-profile affair, with Germany, Italy, Poland, Portugal and Denmark/Sweden competing. This week they each submitted their preliminary bid to UEFA, ahead of final submission in August. The UEFA Executive Committee will decide on the hosts in December.
March 13 – Having launched their bid for Women’s EURO 2029 to the German public at the weekend with multiple activities around Google Pixel Frauen-Bundesliga matches, the German Football Association (DFB) formally submitted (Wednesday) its preliminary bid dossier to UEFA.
