Everton stream Snapchat content live to Goodison Park big screens

May 18 – Everton broke new ground for thie final Premier League home game of the season last Friday by streaming Snapchat social media content live to the big screens in Goodison Park using Tagboard technology, a first in the Premier League.
The partnership with Seattle-based Tagboard and Snapchat saw the official Everton Snapchat Story used for the giant screen content. Tagboard has brought similar club Snapchat content to displays in major stadiums across the USA, as well as the Tokyo Dome for Japan’s national baseball team.

Everton’s Head of Engagement Scott McLeod said: “We are hugely excited by the opportunity to expand the reach of our exclusive behind-the-scenes content from Snapchat to our big screens in and around the stadium. We are focused on continually enhancing the experience for our fans on matchdays, both on our digital channels and at Goodison. This is an innovative approach which achieves that and is testament to the great work of both Tagboard and Snapchat.”

Tagboard are specialists in sharing social media via large-format displays, websites and live broadcasts.
