October 6 – Chinese consumer electronics manufacturer Hisense has continued its global sponsorship expansion into football becoming the Official TV and Appliance Manufacturer of the US national teams in a deal that will take them through the 2018 World Cup in Russuia, 2019 Women’s World Cup, as well as including the U.S. Soccer Development Academy, and U. male and female youth teams.
Hisense is already a sponsor of the 2018 FIFA World Cup in a one-tournament deal having cut its teeth with a Euros 2016 sponsorship – part of the partner roster that saw that tournament hit a record €1.9 million in sponsorship cash.
Hisense USA will use the sponsorship to promote a premium line of appliances to football fans. The relationship begins with the crucial 2018 qualification match against Panama today. Hisense will promote at US games as well as via brand integration across broadcast and digital channels.

Hisense is licking off its promotion with a Twitter contest giving sports fans a chance to win a free 4K TV and U.S. Soccer team shirt.
