November 20 – The Daily Fantasy Sports business is to get its first conference, hosted in Malta, later this week (November 23). The European Fantasy Sports Summit (EFSS) aims to give an international platform to a DFS focused agenda.
Hosted by GamingMalta Foundation, the government financed body has joined with igaming event Sigma (Summit of iGaming Malta) to produce session on an international platform targeting key stakeholders and key decision makers in DFS.
Topics will focus on: the global current ‘state of the union’ for the sector; the European challenges and opportunities; expert discussion on regulatory efforts; DFS as an igaming vertical against a ‘millennial’ reality; and shedding light into DFS and sporting organisations.
Speakers include Ivan Filletti, Head of Operations and Business Development, GamingMalta, Jeffrey Haas, Chief International Officer Draft Kings, Jindrich Rajchl, CEO Funtasysport.de, and Valery Bollier, CEO Oulala Games.
