June 28 – Premier League Leicester City have signed a two-year sponsorship with online gaming site W88 who will become the club’s Official Betting Partner for the 2018/19 and 2019/20 Premier League seasons.
W88 will use the partnership to develop unique content with the club’s stars, as well as receive a package of brand exposure including pitch-side LED advertising. The deal was brokered by leading sports marketing agency Lagardère Sports.
W88 has a strong presence in Asia and offers sports betting as well as live dealer casino, poker and slots on its multiple-language platforms.
“We are confident that our partnership with Leicester City will allow us to bring football fans and customers in Asia closer to the Club, and we look forward to engaging with them to build lasting relationships,” said W88.
No value was given for the deal which was brokered by Lagardère Sports.
