Hong Kong logistics firm Royale admitted to the Crystal Palace

July 20 – Asian sponsors for Premier League clubs have generally been from the betting industry unless local sponsors. Crystal Palace have expanded away from the betting sponsor focus with a global partnership with Hong Kong logistics brand Royale International.

Described as a multi-year deal, Royale will become the club’s official logistics partner.

Royale will have branding presence at Selhurst Park on match days and will run a series campaigns for supporters in partnership with Royale, as well as engagement with local businesses and existing Royale customers.

Crystal Palace chief exec Phil Alexander said: “Royale International and Crystal Palace both share big ambitions on the global stage and we hope this is the start of a long and successful partnership which will help grow both brands in key markets, capitalising on the global audience and passionate fanbase here at Crystal Palace.”

Royale International was founded in 1980 and has offices on six continents offering ranges from traditional courier services and warehousing to time-critical hand-carry services and aircraft charters.

No figure was announced for the deal.
