TEAM complete UCL 2018-21 sales cycle with Expedia Group deal

August 15 –  Expedia Group is to become the Official Travel Partner of the UEFA Champions League in a three-year deal that also gives the online travel booking firm sponsorship rights to the Super Cup, Youth League finals and the Futsal Champions League finals.

Expedia Group brands Expedia and Hotels.com will join Santander as a new partner for the 2018-21 Champions League cycle. UEFA says the Expedia “agreement will complete the 2018-21 UEFA Champions League sponsorship sales process.”  The sales process was run by TEAM Marketing.

As one of the world’s leading travel experts, Expedia Group’s experience in this field will be of huge benefit to UEFA and its partners, as we seek to grow the UEFA Champions League around the world,” said Guy-Laurent Epstein, UEFA Events SA Marketing Director.

Brand Expedia offers travellers a range of travel products like from flights and accommodation, to car rental, travel insurance etc, and is available in more than 30 countries. Hotels.com operates via 90 local websites in 41 different languages.
