Gatorade expands Man City deal to include women’s team

March 6 – Just as England were celebrating their tournament win in the SheBelieves Cup in the US, one England’s top women’s teams was welcoming a new sponsor partner with Gatorade becoming the Official Sports Nutrition Partner of Manchester City Women.

Gatorade are already a partner of the Manchester City mens team. The addition of the women’s deal was described as a “multi-year global partnership”. No value was given.

The women’s team “will have access to the Gatorade portfolio of sports fuel products, equipment and cutting-edge science through the Gatorade Sports Science Institute (GSSI) to help the players prepare and perform at the highest level during their training sessions at City Football Academy and on match days,” said a club press release.

Gatorade will have a match day LED presence at the Academy Stadium where Man City play their home games, as well as dugout branding for all FA Women’s Super League and domestic cup home matches.

The partnership will also see the creation of video content for the club’s digital channels.

Expanding our ongoing partnership with Manchester City to now also fuel the women’s team is a wonderful opportunity to work with one of Europe’s best women’s football teams as they continue to challenge for titles.”
