SIGA Sport Integrity Forum, New York: Montagliani joins Ceferin in speaker line-up

February 12 – Concacaf President and FIFA Vice President Victor Montagliani is to take part in a dedicated session at the 6th SIGA Sport Integrity Forum in New York on March 24.

Montagliani (pictured) will discuss the process of reform of both his own organisation, which he has led since March 2015, and that of FIFA, where he was a member of the FIFA Reform Committee established following the challenges faced at the global soccer body in 2015.

SIGA’s  New York Forum will also have UEFA president Aleksander Ceferin on the speaker list.

Montagliani will focus on the reforms that have taken place in Concacaf, the route to implementation and the key steps along the way, as well as the next steps and challenges facing the confederation that governs soccer in North America, Central America and the Caribbean.

Montagliani chairs the FIFA Stakeholders Committee, perhaps the biggest ball-juggling task of any of FIFA’s standing bodies. He will also give unique insight into the task of unifying multiple stakeholders globally into FIFA’s governance reform packages, as well as the proposed reforms of the player transfer system and the roles of agents and intermediaries in the world game where he has been leading discussion.

SIGA Sport Integrity Forum will take place on March 24 at the iconic New York Athletic Club and coincides with the launch of SIGA America.

Other topics on the agenda include: Gender equity and diversity, Sports betting integrity, youth and culture exchange, global business, media rights and anti-piracy, technology and innovation.
