SIGA Strives III: Laureus Sport for Good Foundation joins integrity body

March 24 – Laureus Sport for Good Foundation USA has joined the SIGA community as a ‘Committed Supporter’. .  

This is the third measure of 30 that SIGA is announcing via its new global campaign #SIGASTRIVES.

Laureus USA works to uphold the mission of founding patron Nelson Mandela to change the world through sport. Laureus USA uses sport to bring communities together, improve physical and mental health, and teach valuable life skills including confidence and leadership.

Laureus USA joins more than 100  members and committed supporters of SIGA.

Benita Fitzgerald Mosley, CEO of Laureus Sport for Good USA, said: “We are proud to join SIGA as a Committed Supporter.  Now, more than ever, our youth and families need connection.  While we may not be on a pitch, in a gym or on a field together, sport creates a bridge that brings us together to face any storm.  The character traits that are built through sport participation – teamwork, empathy, perseverance, leadership — are what will bring us through these difficult times and allow us to emerge stronger than ever.
