Messi, Pogba, van de Sanden and Sancho fizz for Pepsi activation

February 24 – Pepsi MAX is using its Champions League sponsorship to activate its new football ad campaign ‘Music Keeps Us Fizzing’.

The new commercial, titled ‘Fizz to Life’, features Lionel Messi, Paul Pogba, Shanice van de Sanden and Jadon Sancho blending their football skills to the music and lyrics of Becky G and Burna Boy on a new track titled ‘Rotate’.

The ad opens with a student on her laptop with poster images of Messi, Pogba, Sancho and van de Sanden on the walls that come to life as they chase a can of Pepsi MAX showcasing their skills while leaping in and out of posters and magazines around the room.

Last December PepsiCo resigned their UEFA sponsorship for a further three-year Champions League term for the 2021–24 cycle. PepsiCo have been a Champions League partner since 2015. The agreement includes sponsorship rights for the UEFA Super Cup in 2021, 2022 and 2023.
